Campy 1999-2006 Record Hub maintenance instructions
Hi, I need to change out the axle and generally overhaul my circa-2000 Campy Record rear hub. And I'm not finding any good YouTube videos or other instructions that closely match, although the Campy website has instructions for similar hubs that might work...does anyone have a good source for these instructions? Thanks.

Sorry, I don't know of any videos. I've used those instructions to overhaul my hubs probably a dozen times. It's pretty straight forward and if I can do it, anyone can do it.

Dear gearbasher,
You so kindly found me the manual for the 1999-2006 campy record rear hub. I'm looking for the front hub manual and am having no luck on the web. Might you have that one available as well. I would greatly appreciate it. In the meantime I will keep searching, using a variety of keywords...
Thanks,
Greg (aka roadbiker100)

Here is your front hub manual.
Campagnolo used to have them all on their website. But, alas, they are gone now. I was lucky and put them all on a thumb drive.

You are a lifesaver. Thank you! Strange that Campy doesn't still have these resources available. But it is what it is and I am glad you had the foresight to save them.

They still have them, but the older ones were removed. You can still get the '07 and later hub manual on their site.

Thankfully the older Campy stuff seems to last forever, longer than the availability of the tech manuals in any case, but sadly, I have not heard the same about the durability of their more recent releases (although have no direct experience myself). I still consider '07 on the newer side and hope never to have to part with my circa 2000 hubs!

really very straightforward to go thru these. just un-do the end bells with a 5mm allen, thread the adjustable cones off, press the hub out and re-grease the bearings like a conventional hub.
Re-assembly is a reversal of disassembly.
Final adjustment on these can be done on the bike which is a neat feature to get perfect adjustment.

Here are some of the older manuals I saved. they don't specify the group. they're from 2002- 2007. maybe they will help.
