Masi Gran Corsa 1980’s
Hello everyone I have found a beautiful Masi gran corsa all white with nice logos. It’s looks like it was a built but it has campagnolo crank set plus the derailleurs. Original forks with Masi stamped. The stem is not original and the handle bars are not either they seem Japanese. The rims are campagnolo Atlanta 96. I paid $200 for everything and hope to restore it. Any help would be appreciated. The numbers on the bottom of the frame 50 GC on one side and 09213. Thanks

If it is a Gran Corsa, this page indicates that in 1988 they offered the frame with a choice of 4 sets of kit.

Depending on the group parts ordered good chance the stem bars are original. If in good shape you got a very good deal on the bike probably half FMV so I would say don't worry about the stem and bars if there good and the right size.

Thanks for the help
The frame has big letters MASI and the Gran Corsa. The bars are hsinlung stamped and stem has SR on them. The brake levers are shimano 105. The rest is all campagnolo. Frame is good shape just some scratches with me dents. The crank set is a campagnolo strada but the chain ring is almost hitting the frame and that’s the reason it has the biggest scratch.I guess the chain got stuck and scratched the paint. Just some details to fix. Thank you

Very nice! I have always liked those rims, they are super strong. I think the paint and decals are in pretty decent shape from what I can see. I'd try to do some minor touch-up on any rusted areas. Hopefully you can match the white closely enough.
Heck of a deal on that bike in my opinion.

The old quote, which happens to be true, is it is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. Having said that, what I do is imagine it was mine and then decide what I'd want to get out of it, realistically of course. In current condition, I'm thinking $300 to $400 or so. Maybe more in some markets.

I actually like the Gran Corsa over the Nuova Strada, even though it was below in the range.

I see three roads for this bike First sold as project bike as is $175 , 2nd parted out for $500 with all the hassle fees on ebay. or third put the basic parts on the bike to make it a good rider and sell for $350-400.

Does it fit for a keeper, or are you just looking to complete and sell?
If the former, find some 3TTT bars and stem, some Campy down tubes, and some Campy levers. Throw on some tape enjoy the patina of a well loved bike and ride it!
If the latter, remove, clean and take out EBay ads.
The wheels and frame along should alone double your outlay. Then you have a campy drivetrain for another build for a bike you wish to keep.
