Will 28's fit a Schwinn 564?
I don't have any 28's in my stash. I am wondering if any of you have any experience running 28's on a Schwinn 564.
Any luck with a tire wider than 28?
Just wondering before I order some and need to send them back because they are too wide.
Also excepting recommendations for a moderate priced 700C, my experience is limited with 700C's
Thanks in advance.

I had a 684 and it wouldn't fit 28's for sure. I think the frame specs on them all are the same.
If you go to this gallery you can sorta see what clearance I had running Continental 4 seasons 700 x 25

Biketiresdirect.com has Michelin Pro4 Endurance and Service Course options in stock for $41.99 and $43.91 each respectively.
I have a set of Pro4 Endurance 23s and have nothing bad to say about them. They have been an excellent tire and I would buy them again for sure.

What would you consider a moderate price for a tire?

I have a 594 and I can confirm that 28's definitely won't fit. I was able to squeeze a set of Specialized 700 x 26 tires on it, but there was basically no clearance. Any tweak in the wheel alignment would have caused it to rub.
