There's a skate park by my house. One time I was there with my kids and a guy came in on a 20" BMX, said to us "let me show you a couple of tricks", did some cool stuff, and then left. He probably wasn't 45, but well into adulthood.

Knew a 65 year old who could pack a regular 20" into a large suitcase for travel. I asked him why not get a folder. He relied, "But then I couldn't afford the trip". I did note he had an extra long seatpost.

There are two smaller guys in my neighborhood with tween boys who ride 20in bmx's with the kiddos. One raced and the other just rides his chromed out dream 20incher with a full afro.

I still race 20" BMX at 45. Like it better than cruiser - though I'm building a new cruiser this year to try and like that more.

Though I really only started at 40. There was no racing near me where I grew up.

I look like Pee Wee Herman when I'm on a 20". Or so I am told. I like to ride them, though it has been a long time since I've owned one.

My tricks are pretty much limited to manuals and small jumps. But that's my skill, nothing to do with my age.
