This is so impractical, and a lead poisoning risk.

I work with other chemists to formulate my own sunscreen and bike polish. The formulations are only mediocre at their respective stated functions but contain nanoparticles that randomly clump, disassociate, and re-clump to form constantly changing energy absorption surface irregularities that render me unrecognizable to radar and 3D facial recognition scanners. They do not work as well against cameras, but then I am just another middle-aged Asian guy and so few can tell us apart.

Not only that now you have people that need to hyper share their locations with the world and tell them every mundane thing they are doing.

And that's where my boomer logic comes in.
As teenagers if our parents asked us where we were going and with who, we would say; just around, with friends.
But today, not only do people say where they are and with whom, but what they ate, who they saw and how far they went.
Not that I care. If I don't commit crimes or cheat on a significant other, I could not care less if people know where I am

Cheers

I didn't pay cash for a stolen bike, but I do have a used bike, so I'm off to a good start.

How about if I buy a stolen cell phone and carry that with me when I ride? Big Brother with think its some other dude riding around.

I escaped from the Illinois Department of Corrections in 2004.
By riding bike, left in a prearranged hiding place, I was able to get out of the county before they even started looking for me.
It has been 20 years now with no police interactions in my life because I live a bicycle only life!
---SO--- I do indeed enjoy the secrecy of my bike!!!!!

Exactly anyone could be followed, on their bike or anywhere else .... but no one wants to. You could spend your whole life hiding and you would succeed----because no one is looking for you. if they were, they would already be all over every aspect of your life. And you might never know because you are doing nothing actionable.

You can sneak around on your bike or you can ride a twelve-foot-tall tall bake, towing a huge sound system and displaying disco lights ... and no one would care.

Basically they can track you if they want to no matter what you do ... but They Don't Want To.

But you have already figured out that I am on their payrolll ... so ignore me and double up on that tinfoil.

Or people asking what is your ETA time, i.e., estimated time of arrival time.

I do not know why all policemen and reporters have to say "he was driving at a high rate of speed." Speed is distance over time, and thus already a rate.

Like my privacy..much different than secrecy. But then again, the government already knows about me. They are the ones that found me and saved my life from the crash wreckage in Roswell. I thank them for all the plastic surgery that makes me pass off as human so I can continue to live until my people come from space to rescue me and take me to my home planet.
