Posted elsewhere, but what the heck.... And the Valgan I'm working on is blue, too (well OK, primer-grey at the moment, but it was blue, and it shall be blue again).

Fantastic Merckx 10th tribute, also still languishing and likely to have its parts moved to another project and get a much more correct group that came from the too small frame that was traded for it.

My bluish/purplish DeBErnardi set up for doodle-bugging around with the tall stem and triple chainset -- Some type of Campagnolo group but i fogged out on the fine details
Since one of our esteemed posters slipped in a Celeste Bianchi (is it blue or green? - hmmmm ) I was going to slip in a pic of my late model Teal mountain bike (is it teal blue or teal green? again - hmmmm )
But realized i had a blue "museum piece" that i have shared pics of before

I don't purposely look for blue bikes, but lately, it seems to end up that way.
1990? Cannondale ST400. I got his last fall at a bike swap in Ohio. It looked like it had been ridden hard and put away wet, but after a wash and wax, it really looked nice.
1981 Fuji S12-S LTD. No original paint was harmed in the making of this bike. The standard color for S12-S LTD was black. I had a blue Fuji many years ago and I was trying to emulate it.

Another blue bike found its way into my garage. I found the bike in February, rusting away outside an antique shop. The original drivetrain was seized, but the frame was in good shape. This three-speed wheel set had been sitting in my garage for a long time, so I threw together a three-speed road bike. There is no indication of what tubing it might be, but the seat post is 1 inch, so I assume high tensile steel. It's not light, but it does ride nice. Swapping the rusty steel parts for alloy saved about 5 pounds.

I have two additions.
As per my M.O. of playing near the bottom of the barrel, I picked this up about a year ago as a cheap and grungy 10-speed. In times past, I've had bicycles set up as fixed gear, but it has been a while since I gugified my former fixie to a 650b randonneuse.
Enter the Bridgestome 100. I got this about a year ago - shortly after a too-large-for-me Motobecane Grand Touring which had been transformed to fixed gear after the former owner suffered a catastrophic drivetrain failure whilst still a college student. I was thinking clunker possibilities at the time.
Excuse my messy shop background. I have actually taken this for a 5-6 mile shakedown. The gearing works well for me.
The second one can't be posted for another day or so. It's "special".
