Congratulations on your first Italian!

It probably won't be your last. I know I couldn't stop at just one.

I don't know much about the brand, but it obviously has a racing pedigree. Did you do any research on her? I wouldn't worry about the scratches myself. She's a rider and she passes the 5ft. rule from the pics. Any idea what tubing she has? The only thing I would change is the black wall tires when there worn out. I think tan walls would look great.

Good luck!

A small shop/brand but they had a success out of the gate when one of the club juniors (Gianni Giacomini) that they sponsored won the Junior Worlds!

I bought a frame/fork, stem/seatpost from a seller in Eastern Europe with a great BIN a couple of years ago. I haven't built it up yet but it is a Columbus Tre-Tubi bike with chrome and Campagnolo ends.

Thank you! I agree wholeheartedly about the tan walls looking better, but it's just like you said, I had the blackwalls laying around already and I might as well use them up. I have found very little about Spezzotto other than what VJP has said here, it seems the brand is still in existance to some degree. I can make out what seems to be a nearly gone columbus decal, but beyond that I'm uncertain of the tubing.

ftwelder, thank you, I've never used a triple on the road so it should be an interesting experience!

VJP, I would love to see your bike when you build it up!

Not surprised by your description of the ride. I had a tretubi Faggin from the same era. Super-fun bike in every respect.
