roadcrankr It's hard not to after that one. Almost like lottery tickets. But I'm holding strong.

Doesn't "Supercorsa Pista" translate to "Super road Track"? Kind of a mixed message, don't'cha think?

Yelbom15 : Personally, I think you dodged at least one and maybe two bullets. I understand jonesing for a Cinelli - I did for years and eventually lucked into two from the mid-1960s that are my (large) size. Before I found the first one, I tried to make a couple work that were not right (both too small, one rusted out, although I was able to salvage the fork). I say: Wait for the right one. It does not have to be pristine - mine certainly aren't - but it should not leave you with a bunch of question marks. If it doesn't feel right, it doesn't feel right.

Bottom line: don't settle. Be prepared to pay for the right one, but don't settle. Settling only leads to disappointment.

Of course, that's only my opinion, and it's worth exactly what you are paying for it.

A prime example of when keeping your mouth closed (and questions to yourself) can pay off.

I also sense a little urgency in replacing what you missed out on. I love my Cinelli but also waited years to find one that fit me and was in my range.

Shoots!

Lattz,
That I do......The Cinelli was one of 2, the other a Mercian that I wish I would have been able to purchase, but I am still on the hunt.....looking for them and the elusive Somec.
Best to you and your family, Ben
