quick survey on tire sizes vs. team weights?
Can we have a quick survey on tire sizes vs. team weights? I am looking at Maxxis Columbiere 700c X 25 tires, and I'm not sure if I might be going too narrow for our 310 lbs team. Has anybody used Maxxis or heard about them?
Can't find anything wider here in Buenos Aires.

I think it depends on your roads. Here in the Ozarks the road surfaces tend to be very course. We see quite a bit of fresh chip-n-seal and we have the occasional stretch of gravel on older paved roads. For these reasons we're on 700 x 30's @ 95-100psi. We can ride just about anything on these things. (Team weight 315.)
