One of my parents' friends wanted to get rid of a pair of bikes so he asked if I was interested. Of course!
The first one is what looks to be a 1965 Gazelle A-frame (frame number 1959744) which would mean this is a bike from 1965 though no such model can be found online in that year.
It is supposed to be an old police bike and looking at the parts it's probably pretty original. At 60cm it's slightly too small for me but I plan on cleaning and overhauling the frame and preserving the original paint and pinstriping with a clear varnish of boiled linseed oil. Maybe I will rebuild the wheels with modern stainless steel spokes and add some cream tyres, then sell it to someone who appreciates these bikes. The sprung leather Lepper saddle is extremely comfortable. It comes with a Torpedo coaster brake, Invicta sidewall dynamo and the original Gazele kickstand. ETRTO 40-635 wheels, so in the slightly larger Dutch/English Roadster 28 x 1 1/2 size which is also known as 700A in French sizing.
The varnished cloth chaincase and wheel spoke cover are pretty beat up so I will have to look into restoring or replacing those.
Any tips are appreciated.

The other one is a Koga-Miyata Runner-S from 1988 in a 54cm size. One of their lower-end road models with Koga-Miyata Hardtlite FM-3 chromoly frame and Hi-Manga HM-2 fork. Full Shimano Exage Sport groupset and Biopace rings. It is in pretty good shape. Besides some scuffed stickers I hardly see any paint damage or rust. This will probably be a clean and sell job unless I find someone in my circle who is interested in it. Original price was Hfl. 1295 or about €1122.47 ($1266.71) in 2020 money.

Not the post, but FedEx. This arrived a day early, in a very...experienced looking box. The frameset inside doesn't look much better.
This shot almost qualifies as a boudoir photo and really does not do justice to the overall condition of the thing, but I'm delighted to have a 24" Trek 620. Many thanks to steine13 .

Yesterday and today, not all strictly via post...
Veloflex ProTour 28s. These came from Italy via DHL. I bought them Monday. They arrived today. And the shipping was free. Go figure...
Specialized Touring Pedals (like, my fourth? fifth? set). These took Royal Post to my nephew in north London, who forwarded them to Andrew's daughter in south London. Andrew picked them up and carted them across the Atlantic, delivering them to me yesterday, in person, on his Jack Taylor.
Along with the pedals, Andrew brought me a Williams crank and other assorted bits from his stash in the UK. Making this all work on my AutoMoto should be an interesting challenge. If this works, it will be a Williams crank (one ring to start, maybe eventually a double) mated to either a Zeus or Bayliss Wiley spindle, which will be riding in Stronglight BB cups and Wheels Mfg bearing balls.
I have no idea if I will be able to pull this off, but I figure I have all winter. 
If I decide to keep it long-term, I will eventually go for a Stronglight, Duprat, or some other period correct French cottered crank.

@smontanaro +1 I also just received a pair those same Veloflex tires from Italy. Mine are mounted and stretching on pair of newly built wheels for my Colnago project. The tires seem really nice out of the box. Really grippy feel to the rubber, and very even and straight (no lumps). I was disappointed when the Vlaanderens went away, but the Pro Tour seems to be a good option, too. Cool pedals, btw.

I really hate those plastic crank dust caps with the slit that nobody has removed for the last 38 years so you end up being not that careful removing them and they get all manky.
Solution is some period NOS metal crank caps from Ebay for £20 that actually take a hex key, arrived from Ebay 1 hour back and already fitted.

Campy Athena parts
I'm rebuilding my Zullo from Superbe Pro 8 speed to 11 speed Athena. I just got in some lightly used silver Athena 11 speed parts - front/rear derailleurs and crankset. Waiting for the brakes and shifters/controllers to arrive now.
