The dent stays! It's gonna be a reminder for me accept imperfection in all its forms.

@bargo68 Dig the Fuso. Moulton (or his painter?) had a knack for nice color pairings. I've had a couple of Fusos slip through my fingers, including a lovely purple and gunmetal gray combo. I'm not saying the fork is bent, but I will say I hope it's just the camera angle and the fact the fork is resting on the race that makes me wonder if the blades are bent back below the crown. (Would be happy to hear I'm flat out wrong.)

I pulled some things from the parts bin today for my recently acquired Colnago Super frame. It'll be a mostly-Campagnolo franken-build to start while I fill out the rest of the wish list. I guess I'm still in the planning & assembling phase, but hope to move into the wrenching phase shortly. I have almost everything I need to get started except new spokes and Italian BB cups.

I noticed that in the ad and took time to check that when I was there. I asked him straight out if he had ever wrecked it and he was adamant, but not insulted.
I put a straight edge up against it just now just to see and everything looks kosher.
Sadly, I did let a small top tube ding get by me!
There was no buckling at the head tube or behind/underneath the lugs, and no signs of stress or damage to the down tube. There are a few small paint chips above the bottom cup of the headset, so if there was an impact, it might account for that. This is where my inexperience fails me.
I will check the alignment on the fork blades tomorrow. The rear dropouts are fine:

This is not C&V but I'm trying my hand at refurbishing it. I think it is 2003. It was picked from the garbage along with a Cervelo P3 & a Kestrel 400 a couple of years ago. What a crazy throw away!

Couple new projects have wandered in. First up is the Eisentraut Limited. This is one of three frames (two are currently in the bike room, third inbound) that came into my possession via a trade with a friend. It is getting a full NR build with a Cinelli cockpit. Frames previous owner is a fan of having frames refinished (I believe this one is powder coated) and adding braze ons, hence the FD tab, top tube cable guides, rack mounts on the chainstays, and DT shifter bosses.
The other project is something non bike related that I've wanted for quite some time: 2012 Challenger R/T in Header Orange with the 6 speed manual and Super Track Pack (better springs/shocks/struts) Not perfect by any means but it is entertaining. Now to keep from breaking my new toy.

Two projects.
First is the replacement of the stem on the De Rosa. I acquired a black version and wanted to see if the bike looked better. Nothing but aesthetics for change. Pics will like go to the build thread when done wrapping the bars.
Second is the 8v conversion to 9 or 10v cassette on an older 8v Record hub. There were two barriers, well three. A 26mm lock ring was purchased at an exorbitant price to go with the postage priced TI cassette hub. The second is to decide to buy a 10v cassette to go with the existing 10v Ergo or to find a reasonably priced 9v Ergo, preferably Chorus or Record. I think finding a 9v index ring to replace the 10v index ring in the Ergo is futile. Why are 9v parts so scarce? I would have expected lots of moves to 10v.

My apologies that this isn't C&V in the least. I did wait at least six fruit fly lifetimes to receive this frame from Singapore by way of Shanghai, an all aluminum track frame and fork. I did have a carbon seatpost whose saddle rail clamp failed to hold securely, so I swapped in this aluminum post because, well, it's what I could find at the local co-op. Also, the top tube cable clips are on order as I didn't know what the top tube diameter really was going to be until the frame arrived. It's a nice rider. My goal for this year is to finally learn to track stand.
The gearing is 48T front, and flip-able 17T or 18T (both fixed) in the rear, so 70 or 75 gear inches.

Decided I hated command shifters, so the bianchi got an upgrade.
Goodbye command shifters. You won’t be missed. The campy aero levers did feel good in hand though.
Tigara rear hub with a mavic rim, 8 speed xt rear derailer, ultegra brifters. All from the co op.

Looks promising that this swap will work. Luckily, I had a store of brass nipples, because these original ones look to be aluminum, and they’re disintegrating.

When I can get some presentable pics, I will share them. I'm not much of a photog.
