Anyone near Binghamton...?

Any members in Binghamton, NY area who might be driving to Buffalo who could grab this for me**********???

https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...98834364522680

This just might be a deal-of-the-day situation. Picture is bad and seller has it miss-listed as a "Razesp".
Seller says it's a "one owner" situation but if he was the first owner, he'd know what he has.

What kills is, it would fit but it's over 3 hours from me. Looking to see if anyone who is the Binghamton, NY area and who travels to Rochester, Buffalo, or Erie PA areas.

Note: Price has dropped from $150 to $100! If someone close wants it to ride, I can't very well say no.

Spanish made Razesa for $100

1980 Razesp xl

$150
Listed a day ago in Binghamton, NY

@malcala622 - I know the facilitators thread is there. I've used that thread before.

Just trying a quick shout out incase there is anyone in the area who can help. I suspect this bike will disappear very soon and so it was a two prong post. One prong is me hoping someone is there who can help me and the other prong is that if there is someone who is close by who may want it, since that member is there, they'd have the right of way.

I've seen a lot of really nice bikes for sale in the north of upper upstate NY. A couple years ago I messaged back and forth with a guy for over a year trying to connect travel schedules so I could buy a caliper braked Bridgestone T700 from him. He had it listed the whole time for less and less money and finally dropped it off at Goodwill. Happy hunting...

It's killing me.

3 hrs driving each way is too much. I'm going to see if there's a bike store locally. If not, I guess no joy

I checked and there are 4 bike stores locally. I will call them tomorrow seeking someone who is willing to pack a bike. A lot cheaper than driving over 6 hours. Bikeflights should be around $60

A month ago I rented a Tesla from Hertz for $77 all in. My gas guzzler V8 Lexus would use $100 in gas. Packing and shipping will set you back $120+/-

Thank you all.
Selller wished only a local sale and he sold locally last night.
I couldn't get free for at least 3 days so no chance.

@ehcoplex There have been a few stellar deals within an hours drive of Binghamton and now that I know you are there....

haha…. So the guy who designed all the McIntosh tube stuff was friends with the owner of the shop I worked at. I fixed all his bikes… He rode with like a 60t front ring.

Well that’s wild- I had no idea McIntosh was based in Binghamton! B’ton doesn’t have a lot going for it these days, but this is cool. I wonder if the have a ‘factory outlet’……? 🤔
