Walker without a clue

Just now heading north on the Iron Horse trail to the crossing at Walden rd. A woman standing in the middle of the trail surrounded by a crowd of leashed small dogs. Fortunately the two bikers approaching from the North passed onto the parallel dirt path. I called out “how many dogs you got?” Her answer “five”. My response “that’s too many”. Her response “maybe 6” and then “they’re not all mine”. I was passed and gone before I had thought of a proper response.

Then around the corner and onto my street. This is blind curve you know. A woman standing in the middle of the street (two dogs) announcing to a person on the other side of the street like “my name is Pam”.

By this time I was out of snappy comments so I just got home. Looking forward to a shower and lunch. My mind is still thinking WTF.
