How do you like the way it rides? I remember back in the day taking one out and it seemed a very harsh ride compared to my ‘95 Quattro Assi Easton Elite.

Nicely done! These rendered a stiff ride. Perfect for crit racing back then.
You can smooth it out somewhat with a carbon fiber fork, 25 or 28 tires, and a spongier saddle.

Gorgeous! New paint or Powder? I bet it rides as good as it looks.

Great build, almost like new. I rode one two decades ago but it was too stiff and harsh for me,yet very responsive ride. Enjoy your bike

I love aluminum bikes, and was thrilled when I got a cherry Allez M2 Comp.
Built in the US, and only tiny details different from it's S-WORKS brother.
But like BMC_Kid, I found it insanely stiff and jittery.
One of the few bikes I've gotten rid of quickly. I hope your experience is different.

Very pretty bike and looks showroom fresh.
I have its mtn cousin from that era, not sure of the exact year as I got it from the original owner. Still a fun ride, today and surprisingly light.

Specialized did a great job with the very fun and fast steel Allez. It seems that the M2 Road followed the steel Allez and after 2 years, it became the aluminum Allez?
I hope these C&V aluminum race bikes continue to have a harsh and uncomfortable ride😉 I had a great but brief time on a Trek 1200, and continue to have a blast on a couple Cannomdales and I would have kept my M2 Stumpjumper if I was more successful rebuilding the front suspension. Now with this thread, the M2 Road Pro is on my list of bikes to test for its harsh ride 😆
