83 Bianchi Super Leggera Salvage Job
Found this 83 Bianchi on OfferUp rotting away in the Arizona sun and had to save it. Miraculously, most of the important original stuff is still there (panto’d stem, seat post, brake levers, brakes). Even some of the tattered Almarc wrap remains. The rest is a mixed mess of Triomphe, Miche, etc. I was going into downsizing mode so hope I have the time and energy for one more!

My Arizona finds been preserved from rust but grease & leather unreal. Just overhauled an 81 Colnago Super after 30+ years in a Tempe garage. Hub grease so dried, had to use lacquer thinner to dissolve. Headset and BB still had some black, "grease like" stuff that cleaned out easily though. Other project is a rock hard Brooks Professional from Phoenix. Hopefully mountable for a Summer break-in Don

Looks like a great project. Keep the pics rolling in as you restore it!
