If you want to see real bicycle skills, check out any of the You Tube videos on indoor artistic cycling. It's actuallly a UCI sanctioned sport. It's amazing to see to the individual perforamnces but I prefer the team competions, where the timing and co-ordination can be breathtaking. Here are some sample performances from past World Championships.

Yes those are the typical FG trick skill that many can perform. Your example is good as are many of the NYC FG YT vids. Should have been posted in the BF SS / FG section as P!N20 noted.

Love me a good fixie video.

I was a fixie goon in the early '00s, corking intersections for alleycats, bombing the wrong direction on one-way roads. I'm recovered now, but I still have that mentality when I ride. Hyper aware of my surroundings, constantly calculating the best way to maintain speed/momentum, ready to jump a gap in traffic in a split second. I just can't do it on a fixed gear very often anymore. Maybe once or twice a month I can live vicariously on the MUP.

Haha, I agree! I found it amazing that he's doing all that on a museum grade bike?!
It's already hard to do these tricks on a bike set up for it but then this man goes on and lifts it on those skinny vintage pista drops. I had to share it with the rest of the vintage-bike crew

Is it me, or was his tire pressure a little low?

Most bikes used for UCI artistic cycling / Kunstradfahren are Bauer from the 1950ies, so actually vintage

Vid was OK. Having a hard time with the Shoei helmet and full leathers with knee pucks and all. A little much protection for wheelies in the street, was expecting the rider to bomb down a hill after donning such apparel.

I made it 90 seconds and the coolest thing I saw was the guy bunny hopped a curb. Maybe the second half of the video was amazing?...but 90 seconds was a waste.
