FS: Shimano 600 Uniglide Hubset & Cassette
Selling this set, including the hard to find spoke protector! ;-)
Hubs are 36/36, 126 spacing. They have been serviced and all bearing surfaces are in great shape.
Cassette looks to have been used only slightly.
I believe this is the hubset that can take a new freehub body and be used with hyper glide cassettes. Sheldon Brown has the info on the website if memory serves correctly.
Asking $45 shipped in the lower 48 and payment via PayPal, Friends and Family or you pay fees.

Nice. I just this week build up a bike with those hubs and almost exact cassette. I have in the past successfully swapped freehubs for hyperglide on those. And with a longer axle, you can do 8+ speed.

And having that threaded small cog, someone could just do some quick work with a Dremel to run HG cassettes and put off that freehub body swap.

If I didn’t already have exactly the same hubset…

Yep! I salted away a few 13-21, 13-23, 13-26, and 13-28 HG cassettes when they were cheap and plentiful. If I'd known they were about to go out of production, I might have bought a lot more and had a nice little side business now.

Final bump before it heads to either ebay and if it does not sell there, then the co-op. Hit me with your offers!

I've been eyeing this post, but I'm not sure if the parts will be compatible with my 6-speed set up. If you can confirm it's a direct fit, I could use the parts.
I have a 1985 Bianchi Limited I resurrected with a Shimano NEW 600EX groupset. It has friction shifters and a New 600EX 6-speed freehub, Shimano part #FH-6207-6. My freehub body has a cracked dustcover and my cassette skips on a couple cogs. Would this 7-sp freehub body and cassette be a direct fit? Sorry, my knowledge on compatibility issues in limited. I would pay the $45 shipped if it works for my set up.

I should have mentioned, I would want to use the freehub body on my existing New EX600 hubs...

If still available I'll take them. I'll be spending at least this to get my ultra-rare Dura Ace hubs working.....

I only need the freehub body and cassette. If you can use the hubs, maybe fender1 can split up the sale. I'd be happy to pay $30 or more for the two parts.

Let me see what I have in my parts stashes. I might have something?

I know I have a set of Deore LX that I think was 7 speed so you might want to check compatibility. It has the same screw on rows but also threaded for lock ring.
i don’t have any of the screw on 7 speed cassettes.
