How many bikes do you own?

Old guy & bikes
More than I need, about as many as I want. They are kinda one per usage, though in honesty, I could probably get by with two. Thankfully I have the space, and I like love to fix bikes.

Too many. Not enough. Somewhere in the middle?
Let's see...
1985(ish) Raleigh Kodiak (touring bike)
1993(ish) Schwinn Crosscut (hybrid bike)
1997 Schwinn Moab (hardtail MTB --> homebrew ebike conversion)
2004(ish) Specialized Rockhopper (hardtail MTB)
2023 Lectric XPedition (cargo ebike)
These 5 seem to cover all the bases. Until the next time I find a new project...

As much as I would like to be car free isn't happening. Wife with eye sight that makes driving or biking not an option I'm maintenance in a level one trauma center if something goes south I may have to stay until it's done . Traffic and roads were I live . I also have anxiety and driving is a major trigger, but I was raised to do what you have to to take care of your family. I'm finally getting better from health issues so I can get back to riding. Since I am riding again I've had all my bikes out for maintenance and lubrication .
I have 7 bikes
Surly Steamroller set up as a single speed my first good bike
Surly Long Haul Trucker custom this is the bike I dreamed of when I couldn't afford a decent bike
Surly flat bar Cross Check yeah I like Surly's
Raleigh Sports 1975 like new just cause I want it replaced the original tires with cream colored tires it's what I ride with my grandchildren on
Electra loft 1 nickel plated frame black parts coaster brake though it was a good looking bike and sometimes simple is good
Gravity bullseye 29 plus I have a friend who is a retired off-road motorcycle racer he has over 100 acres with miles of trails plus when I am able I ride along the river and fish
Univega Alpina 501 mountain bike that has suffered a hillbilly with extra parts and time it has drop bars off my steamroller Origin 8 brake levers friction bar end shifters Serfus 26 x 2 Semi slicks.
I have had 2 surgeries on my right foot I am getting back to riding some day I hope to travel more on a bike than a car

We own 9 between us. 2 mtbs, 1 1x7 utility, 1 rb, 1 fg not shown
Rebuilt and upgraded Avanti rb. Went from standard to WSD by changing saddle to Bontrager WSD, stem from a flat 120 to 70mm riser, triple 24-34-44t x 12x32t 8sp Sram cassette, Ultegra rr der, Sram PC-58 chain, carbon fork, Shimano UN55 118mm bb.
Reid from Evo Cycles. Changed to 8 sp fw 14-34 w/a 8 sp twist grip shifter. Replaced stock 44t crankset w/a 38t bmx. Added chrome Basil Portland bell, Raleigh chrome pump, leather trim generic chrome wb cage, Brooks saddle, Basil bag, custom leather tool bag, Brooks compensated grips. Bike came with basket and rack. Sweet ride. My partner calls it her PrinCESS.
Silverback Special Edition Sport tandem. 3x9 w/Ultegra rr der, carbon fork, Sram 12x32 9 sp cassette. Chains are both new. Drive chain is a KMC 9. V-brakes w/new shoes. Everything else is stock.
