Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Holy: thanks the bike besides looking good rides really great. Brent @ steelmans is an awsome guy... maybe in a few years I'll have him build me one of his carbon frames ^^ .
I've only put 75 road miles on it... due to all this heavy rain lately ... damn this rain needs to stop dry up and give me some outdoors riding time. Esp for this long Xmas weekend. but i think Cheese and people stuck in the snow area's have it worse ...

Cheese: I feel for ya ... snow sucks and If ya have to deal with wind too , oh man LOL .

Bars look a little over-rotated on the Cyfac, but if it's comfortable to you, that's all that matters. Another option is trying for a -17 degree WCS stem.

And wow, I didn't realize they made tires with reflective sidewalls nowadays.

I realized in the pics that the bars need to rotate up a bit, I haven't really fitted it yet. Yeah, that reflective really works

Windsor Kennet.Got this in August of this year from bikesdirect. An aluminum frame with carbon seat stays and fork and Ultegra 10 speed drivetrain/brakes. I upgraded the wheels to Velocity Areohead Nuvians with titanium spokes to get the wheel weight down to 1500 grams. I am a 210 lb rider and needed a higher spoke count.

My '05 Reno

It's undergone a few changes since I took the photo a few days ago. I've swapped out the 105 crankset for a '06 Elita Compact GXP. I have a hilly century lined up I may need the extra gear. I also switched to a 90mm stem as I've been having fit problems. The Problem you ask!?, the LBS never fitted me .

I'll don't have pictures yet:

Kestrel Evoke frame/fork(red weave), Campy Record drivetrain (w/ Chorus cassette), ZG 05-Ti brakes, Kestrel EMS Pro bar, Ritchey Pro stem (for now), Deda Blackstick seatpost, Selle Italia SLR saddle, Speedplay Zero Ti pedals, Campy Record bottle cages, Rolf Prima Vigor wheels, Conti GP3000 tires. Next upgrades will probably be (in this order), new stem, Nokon cables, ZG (or Zipp) crank, American Classic or Zipp carbon tubular wheels.

Eddy Merckx Titanium Ex frame, Record/Chorus/Centaur/Veloce mix drivetrain, Mavic Open Pro/Record wheels, Conti Ultra 2000 tires, Speedplay Zero chro-mo pedals, Elite Ciussi stainless cages, Selle Italia Max Flite saddle, Campy Chorus "aero" seatpost, Cinelli bar and stem, Wipperman 10s chain, Polar Power Sensor.

I'm probably close to it, anyway! 6' 5", 36" inseam. You can imagine trying to find a bike to fit, hence the decision to go custom. The Rex measures about 65cm center to top, but you can see the slope in the top tube, not to mention the height of the dang head tube...

This is the other Rex town cruiser/commuter I got a few years ago (photo with the builder):
