Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

ok, is everybody happy now?

some people are vegan, some people aren't, most of us like booze, some like other things, and a few don't like anything, which is fine.

all of us like bikes.

can we kill this thread now?

My geared bike has a "Selle Italia Onda Sudy". It might have some leather in it, I'm not sure.

If I was buying a saddle, I'd go synthetic, or if for some reason I really wanted leather I'd go used.
Gorn, you're doing the best you can do and that's all anyone should be required to do. I applaud you. It's folks like you that the world needs.
