Building a PX10

I have been a long time fan of Peugeot PX10's. I finally got a nice one but it was to big but I really liked how it rode. So I searched for a frame in my size I could build the way I wanted it to be. I found this one online whith no decals and a paint job that came off with a razor blade.

All paint razor bladed off

Then it was sanded until all the remaining paint and primer were gone.

It was then sanded some more and acid etch primed.

Today I painted my frame. I applied a set of reproduction decals from Velocals.com and cleared it with 2 coats of urethane clear. The chrome ends are still taped up until the paint dries some but the chrome is in great condition, once the clear was removed. I will post more pictures as I reassemble it but for now I'm going to let the paint cure for a while. I'm happy with my paint job but those lugs were a major pain to tape up.

That's a fine looking job. I'm looking forward to seeing the build.

Your specimen is fantastic. The brazier for sure soon got bumped up to the pro shop. Some of us want to know how you sprayed it. Rattle can or...?
And the razor blade trick is awesome.

Thank you, I appreciate that.
I was thinking of outlining them in gold since there are supposed to be gold stripping where the paint meets the chrome.

I sprayed it with a spray gun.
