Sampling at different times, probably. Either one might have missed your actual peak speed.

Actually you are correct. I just decided to give it up. Selling everything I have. It served me well for almost 40 years, but I'm finding walking with Mrs. rpen is working better for us. I don't like the cold, the heat, the wind, hills, rain.... I was having a really hard time finding an "ideal" day to ride. I finally just said, "What's the point?"
Make no mistake, I loved it while I was doing it. I have always believed in being aware of the changes needed to cope with aging and not digging in my heels and pretending it isn't happening. . Not riding is probably the biggest one I have faced so far.

There was a garter snake (I think - black with two lengthwise yellow stripes) in the garage of the new house a day or two ago.

My ex is going to see a woman about a used desk. The womans name is Buffy Gorilla. Even though shes an Aussie, I refuse to believe thats her real last name, although I was once friends with a Lisa Barbell.

Google tells me she spells it with two "r"s; Gorrilla, to wit. Google also tells me that "gorilla" is from the Greek for "tribe of hairy women."

I don't know the exact nature of it, but there's a difference in the files after Strava processes them, and they're certainly not more accurate. One of the things the STers were checking when abandoning Strava was that the original files were returned in the download, not the Stravafied ones. To their credit, they were the originals. I think GPLama did some testing about the differences, but I didn't look that closely.
