Reflective vest question
I've been looking at reflective vests for the brevets I'm doing this spring. Specifically, I've been looking at the RUSA web site and they have a "Deluxe Reflective Wind Resistant Vest" and a "Basic Reflective Safety Vest Knit Yellow".
What do you normally use?
Bit concerned about sizing. I normal wear an XL jersey, but in cool-ish spring weather, I may have several layers on. How roomy are these vests?
I like the idea of just the basic vest, IF it can fit over several layers. Then in warmer weather just have a jersey & vest.
Any thoughts or opinions will be appreciated

I use the "basic" vests. In cool weather, the yellow one (which is fabric), in hot weather, the orange one (which is mesh). XL fitted me fine at 253 lbs. It doesn't hurt to have a spare or two. You can also use construction-worker type vests- try Harbor Freight Tools or Northern Tools- but they vary in compactness and tend to be overly loose.

I have the Deluxe Reflective vest in a medium. I have a 40" chest and am able to fit layers underneath without it being too loose. It is made by VO Max and has two rear pockets and is not exactly the same as the one pictured on the RUSA site.
