Rainy Day Blues !

Rain had moved in for a couple of days and I just wasn't in the mood to miss out on some fat bike fun. So decided to go play out in the rain for several hours and just had such a fun time splashing around the trails. It won't be long before Winter and wet cold fun moves in so just a little taste of what's ahead.

I know you wanted to ride thru those puddles, instead of going around

I like your choice of music for your video.

I had gone thru quite a few puddles by that point and on this trail section I knew there could be really thick mud waiting for me in those so around I went.

I hear ya! I did a 1-handed endo over the bars, one time getting my front wheel sucked & stucked in a mud hole. at least the free hand was videotaping the crash!

I like to say "old guys know stuff". but that's only cuz we were once young guys who didn't know stuff. like keeping both hands on the bars, with the camera mounted elsewhere

I've come close to going over the bars from riding to fast into a puddle with thick mud hidden under the water. I know this section was one that could bite me, so I made an adult decision to go around. Not easy because rolling thru puddles brings you back to being a kid again.
