Anyone know the inner rim width of the stock Liberte wheels? I have not been finding it on their website or anywhere else. Thanks!

I don't know, but I know I can mount 20 x 1.95 with no problems, someone else on here managed to mounto2.30 but it was a tight fit.

I mounted 2 1/8" and it was tight, but I had one flat and putting back on went easier.

Not addressing your specific question, but just FYI, there are several threads (in Folding Bikes subgroup) with tons of posts regarding the Liberte, pretty much all positive in terms of quality for the price point.

When I read through that before, I had the impression it was only talking about the single wall wheel they sell separately on the site and not the double wall rim listed in the bike specs. Reading through other posts on their forum makes me think the stock rim is indeed only 13mm, which seems crazy and actually contradicts the compatibility chart one of the Zizzo reps shared. I’ll try to contact them directly, but I wasn’t seeing any easy to do that last time I looked. I probably shouldn’t be buying another bike anyway, but I’d really like something on the sportier side of things compared to my commuter and cargo bike. Target currently has the liberte under $400, and I’m rather tempted. This wheel issue gives me pause, though and l am also concerned I’d regret the lack of a built in front luggage block. Frame wise I think I most want a Swift, but I’ve no interest in disc brakes and it’s cost prohibitive right now, especially since the fold isn’t particularly compact.

Found the question/comment link on my desktop pc. The reply for the stock rim internal width states 13.9mm. I guess they know what they are doing , but that is just outside of any recommendations I’m finding for even a 1.5” tire.

That does seem a lot narrower than my cheap Dahon rims, the outside of which appears to be about 26mm rough eyeballing. These are circa 2006 and single wall I think, came with 1.5"/40mm tires, 1.75"/44 fit fine. I have a couple 2.0" got cheap from the bike shop, hoping to try out next.
