Good balance of puncture resistance and ride quality in a 23/25mm tire?
What are your opinions? Right now it is between the Continental GP 4000S and Schwalbe Ultremo R1 or DD tires, though I generally don't like how Continental tires (I had an Attack/Force set last year and have also ridden on Gatorskins a lot) feel in the wet. I don't really have issues with sidewall punctures so I think that the Schwalbe DD might be unnecessary (all it adds is a puncture resistant layer to the sidewall, afaik). I know that these wear pretty quickly, but how is the puncture resistance? I've heard pretty good things about them despite their light weight and soft compound.
The reason I mention 25mm tires is because of the slightly lower psi you can get away with when you use them. The higher volume should help comfort, durability, and would allow me to pump the tires to 10 psi less in case I do get a flat.
Any other tires? Any Schwalbe users want to chime in?

Price isn't really a concern. Just a balance of ride quality and puncture resistance. Ride quality is sort of intangible, but would include perceived rolling resistance and weight. A tire you wouldn't hesitate to use in a competition, but still fairly reliable.

I've been using GP4000s in 25c and have liked them. I also ran Challenge Criteriums, and thought they were cool. All Conditions did well for me too, but I still prefer the GP4000s. They wear so well, and the slightly wider tyres are still really zippy.

How would you rate the Michelin Krylion Carbons? I am also in the market for a good pair of rubbers for some road riding. I am currently using a pair of Nashbar Duro tires and while they are great they really are not racing tires.
