Stuck SPD tension screw
Picked up a used set of PD-A600 off eBay last year and just now getting around to using them. Compared them with a set of 520s on another bike and the tension screws appear to be threaded out all the way and won't turn on one pedal. Allen looks slightly rounded out. Possible to rebuild the tension system?

Start by soaking with a frozen bolt with something like "Liquid Wrench", or any other similar product. Allow 24 hours and try again.
If that fails, there are more options, but you can cross that bridge if/when you come to it.

Am I seeing a reverse thread on that tension screw and have you tried turning it both ways to loosen tension?

The picture shows the screw is set for the strongest hold on the shoe cleat. So to make it easier to clip out/in, it needs to be turned so the threads start to show below the tabs/plates they screw into. And the instructions say that is to the left. So it is a left threaded bolt. But whether the OP has tried that is unknown, so it still might be a buggered up or stripped thread.
