Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Vinyl lined. Interior steel steps with concrete bottom and deep end sides. We’re doing a liner called Shelter Cove from Merlin.

https://merlinindustries.com/product...-over-pattern/

Doing an 18 inch dark grey concrete surround with cantilever coping and the rest just broom finished concrete. They’re cutting the concrete to look like concrete pavers. We didn’t want stamped because it’s too slippery.

Will ultimately look something like this layout wise.

In other news, the insurance co just paid out the price of a VERY nice bicycle for fiberglass damage I didn't know was there until we asked someone to fix the gelcoat. The area in question happens to have the forestay chainplate bolted through it, making it all the more interesting. I am not the greatest boat handler in wind and current, but I have no recollection of hitting a dock head-on, let alone with sufficient force to do that, and I wonder if it goes all the way back to the silly original owners, or even a defect in the layup. Anyway, the adjuster said crash damage and her word is good enough for me in this case. Fortunately, no claims in the last five years, so they won't raise our premium.

Good thing the front didn't fall off.

Addiction Pills and Ills: My metastatic prostate cancer in my lymph nodes has shown growth over the last year especially since Christmas. Starting Xtandi soon but I have to go to class and get eddicated first. I’ve never heard of anyone having to go to class before starting a pill.

Thanks- it’s taken a year to get to the point of breaking ground. This company has been awesome to deal with, they’re being exceptionally neat, have been careful around some plants and bushes we don’t want disturbed and really helpful in getting us through the process.

i guess they better be for what it’s costing.

For equipment we’re doing a variable speed pump, cartridge filter, salt cell and heat pump. I didn’t do automation because 90% of the equipment is connected to WiFi anyway.

Wow, sorry to hear!

Class sounds like a good thing for a big time drug like that. There's the opportunity for visuals, the info can be standardized, and it's harder to tune out than a 5 min lecture on side effects from a provider. I also think the community part is helpful for some people. Lots of isolation out there.

My Eligard started losing its effectiveness about a year ago. The only other choice was the mass destruction option (chemo) and we agreed to try this first.

It does look to be pretty effective, from what I saw at a glance. Good luck!!

Maybe I should post it in SA as an "is just cosmetic or is my boat going to asplode?" question.
