I'm watching Breaking Bad, the entire series. I've never seen it before, so I am working my way through that.

Last season I did The Wire and the first season of Justified.

And yes, I have a TV mounted on the wall in my garage specifically for watching while riding the trainer.

Same here. I'm on S2E11 right now. Jesse and Jayne look like they just about overdosed, and Walt is rushing off to a Hwy rest stop to deliver 40 lbs of product to the Pollo's owner, while his wife is squeezing out a baby.

Great freaking show.

Oh man, that's a helluva episode!! It gets worse, way worse.

We got hooked on Breaking Bad recently, now trying to find a few episodes of the latest season on TV. That **** is addictive.

If you are on Spotify, Brendan Quirk (the Competitive Cyclist guy) has a couple of good shared playlists for the trainer.

If I am doing Z2, up to sweet spot I like to watch TV/movies... I have HBO go on my xbox which has some good series, walking dead is entertaining, and I'll watch old war movies on DVD while doing slow endurance rides in mid-winter (A bridge too far! pork chop hill! sands of iwo jiwa!).

However, if I'm doing threshold or super-threshold intervals, I can't really concentrate on TV and prefer either sufferfest or music. Kayne is nice, Eagles of Death Metal are fun, and there is a podcast called velobeats which has roughly hour-long mixes of euro/techno/house/trance/whatever. I don't know much about those genres of music, but it can be good for hard workouts!

If I'm not watching movies that I missed over the previous year, I'm listening to music that makes me angry. Barry Manilow and Supertramp.

the mention of the xbox reminds me of this.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZIcrppPDqFI

If i'm on the rollers i will usually watch tv with the family, but when I am on the trainer its hard work and i can't follow tv.

so far i've got:

berlin -masquerade, metro
chemical brothers -setting sun, lost in the k hole, galvanize, let forever be
clap your hands say yeah- satan said dance
duran duran -rio
black eyed peas -fergalicious
goldfinger- superman
interpol- heinrich maneuver
lil jon- get low
lil wayne- 6 foot 7 foot
mia- 10 dollar
MJ- wanna be starting something
ministry- jesus built my hotrod, just one fix
slayer- raining blood
van halen- aint talking bout love
wale- chillin

I'll have to add some QOTS/eagles of death metal.

This will give away my age but I listen to Cheap Trick's Live at Budokan when I'm doing intervals on the rollers.

Lasts exactly 42 minutes which all the time I want to spend there.

I download old races or ones that I just missed , and sometimes play some random high tempo music compilations i've downloaded in the background.
I have a couple of original free Sufferfests but may buy a couple of the current ones.

I find it hard to maintain focus on a workout while watching anything, so it's music for me. I have a specific training playlist loaded with all of the up-tempo, motivating music that I have. It is not required that I like a song to make it onto the list, there are actually a few industrial tracks on there that I absolutely hate. All that is required is that it be motivating when it comes into my headphones.

Ideally I put a 2 hr rocking blues mixed CD ( SRV, Derek Trucks, Thorogood, Mayhall, Led Zep., etc…) in the DVR and watch the “pro chicks” do their thing on DWTS up on the projector TV. The music supports the Z3 to 5 efforts while the spinning ladies keep my mind off the rollers.

I find the mere prospect of riding a trainer soul-crushing, but I have to admit, your way is pretty f'ing boss.
