Some people are reporting that CRC cancelled their orders. I ordered the PCS-9 last night after seeing it in the Road Cycling Hot Deals thread. Haven't received a cancellation email yet. Kind of wish I'd seen the SD thread as I would've gone for the PCS-10 with a coupon code to knock $10 off. Or maybe it's those who ordered the PCS-10 or used the code who got their orders canceled, who knows.

I recently bought one of these:
https://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/product/B00XXMTR56/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Actually this is it, the link above is a different stand now, but this one is identical to what the above one was:
https://www.amazon.co.jp/%E3%82%A6%E...GXE8Y508JWJCZT
Its actually quite well built, I recommend it. Its on amazon US also (or something very similar) under a different name which I cant recall now, but you could match up the features, quick release etc.
There is no need to spend that much on the park tool, you are paying just for the name. I realised this after buying their digital scales, for like $80 I expected quite a lot better. If I were to review them without the labels I would assume it was a $15 bit of junk from china. They couldn't even get the plastic on the back free of bumps and defects, its some of the cheapest stuff I have ever seen and doesn't even work that well.

Actually this depends on when you saw that listing I linked to. They changed the stand without changing the name and link on amazon.

That is the stand I was talking about. Maybe the same as you saw, but to be clear this one as a tripod stand as a camera stand.
