Pairing Di2 to Wahoo
I got a replacement 105 di2 rear derailleur that I'm trying to pair up to my Wahoo Roam. Because it's a replacement, I unpaired/forget the previous di2 so I can pair the new one. However, the Wahoo is not finding the replacement di2. I've made sure the di2 is not sleeping. I also tried to pair it with the di2 in pairing mode (usually reserved for the E-tube app). All nothing. The di2 does connect to the e-tube app so that makes me lean more towards the Wahoo.
Any thoughts/suggestions? Thanks!

Are you able to see the new RD in the E-Tube app.
Maybe check it's firmware revision at the same time.
Don't forget to "Disconnect" correctly.

Then as long as the bike is awake (trip the brifters) the wahoo should be able to add the Di2 as a sensor

Thinking about it….. Bluetooth operates on 2.4GHz, make sure you are not near other 2.4GHz devices.
Anything Wi-Fi, Microwave oven, phone…..
Go outside if you have to

Wahoo is paired to phone through elemnt app. I tried to pair di2 through elemnt app and also directly through the roam device. both times, it doesn't see it. So strange. I do have multiple devices nearby though.

will the wahoo pair with another sensor if you "forget" an already existing one known to recently work with it?

howaboutme , I put a lot of configuration into my Bolt before I really understood the pages, etc. My configs were logic spaghetti and doing a factory reset is what allowed me to add a new sensor.
You're probably not as dumb as me, but the factory reset was the enema my Bolt needed. It's been very happy ever since.

Since you use Element, your ride data is in their cloud too. Only the configurations are lost in the reset.

Ok all. I unpaired the Wahoo Cadence sensor to see if it will find it and repair. It did. So now I'm thinking it's the di2? Any thoughts? Should I do a factory reset of the Wahoo just so I can fully eliminate that as a cause?
I also confirmed that it can connect to the E-Tube app. I even tried it in pairing mode just in case. Nothing.

Ok, I did a factory reset of the Wahoo. Every sensor was found and paired except the di2. Any thoughts?

I figured it out!! The di2 was only set to bluetooth. It needed to be set to both Ant+ and BT.
