There are faster bikes, lighter bikes, heavier too, more expensive, but there isn't a prettier bike that a Bianchi in Celeste. (IMHO that is)

Have to agree that if you have a Bianchi- It has to be Celeste in colour. Mine is.

Here's a shot I did just a few minutes ago. If you want to fool people into thinking you are a good photographer, take all your pictures at sunset, that's what I always say. ;-)

Nice looking Bianchi you have there, Tom. I'm not much for the Celeste color scheme, but I really like the Bianchi Infinito in the red and white color scheme.

Thats about when I got my first, the one I have now ,I have not used for about 10 years(but still got lotsa stuffin it
Including many hundredsof negs that my dad took in Russia at an american bomber baseduring ww2Now its used to keep the homemade wine I make in,and store all sortsof stuff...

I'm in hiding from the photographers guild because of the death penalty for revealing secrets. I'm posting from within a sewer pipe within wifi range of a McDonalds in a major city but can't say which. So far I've escaped them because they are recognizable because of the light meters that they wear around their necks with the ISO always set on 100. But even so they almost trapped me in the ruins of the old photo lab but I hid in the silver recover tank as they walked by, scanning for me with f1.4 lenses. It was so close, death was seconds away. As they passed, moaning of depth of field and ektachrome, I sprung out of the tank and froze them with a handful of CF memory cards, giving me time to sprint to the temporary sanctuary of a Photoshop CS5.

There is something about a Bianchi that just speaks class. No idea what it is but it may be th look of the bike- maybe the design of the frame- Maybe some of the heritage the bike has acquired over the years.
But one thing I do know is that if it is a Bianchi- It has to be Celeste. A red yellow or black Bianchi just does not look right and you miss out on the big advantage the right colour Bianchi has. They are 5mph faster than other coloured bikes.
And A Celeste bike that is not a Bianchi is wrong.

Ah, but the next torture would be a full dunking in a bath of C-41 and then RA-4 with a good submersion in exhausted color Bleach/Fix and a final flush with water from a stagnant algae rich rinse tank.

Back on topic: The Bianchi in Celeste does look a sexy beast.
