Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

We have three HVAC systems. One went out in the hottest part of thesummer of 2020. Another failed in July 2021. Crossing our fingers on the third and largest.

Furnaces don’t get pushed as hard down here (as I’m holed up due ice and sub-freezing temps).

HTFU, and get outside!

Edit: It’s not like I live in one of those southern states, like North Carolina.

I have never purchased a solitary stem cap.

These are the only bar plugs I've ever purchased:

The Younger Boy was colicky as a wee one. Luckily, Mom and Dad came out to stay for a while when he was just a couple weeks old. They were old hands at dealing with that - Dad especially. He'd lay TYB face down across his legs, and TYB would soon fall asleep. Somewhere, we have a picture of Dad, with TYB across his lap, doing the New York Times crossword puzzle.
