Dia-compe ac250G brake lever

I need to remove/replace a dia-compe AC250G aero front brake lever that was damaged as the result of a crash. A portion of the metal banding that secures the lever to the handlebar was broken. While replacing the handle bar tape (which was torn to shreds from the crash) a triangular piece of the banding fell out. It was only being held against the handlebar by the wrap. There is a miniscule size screw on the underside of the lever which I assume tightens/loosens the banding. I don't want to strip the head of the screw and it seems quite securely fastened....maybe the impact of the crash put additional torque on it? Regardless, I am hoping for input or suggestions from someone familiar with this brake lever. Not that it matters, but the bike is a 1985 Shogun 800. Not my daily rider....but I've owned it since new and it bugs me that its not 100% mechanically correct. I welcome any advice.

The mounting bolt is accessed from the front with the brake lever open all the way. Remove the wheel or loosen the cable from the brake caliper to get some slack in the cable. You'll see a large screw behind the cable.

I think that small screw holds the hinge pin in place.
