New Tacx Neo 3M
Garmin just released the new Tacx Neo 3M bike trainer. DC Rainmaker did a great review on YouTube and of course his website.
The latest version doesn't have enough new features to entice me into purchasing it. A Neo2T and motion plates would essentially give you the same thing. The only feature I like is the lockout for the motion plates.
The new trainer is a beast in size. Compared to the Kicker Move it is a giant. I don't know if this is good or bad but visually it is less appealing.
It is priced at $2000 US which is at the high end of trainers.

It's certainly not enough for me to upgrade from my original V1 NEO, not exactly a slew of new features. Shipping with a cassette is a nice touch if you're on 11-speed (no choices).
If you're in the market for a high end smart trainer the NEO 3M would be a worthy contender to choose from.

I can't believe it's that price and doesn't have built in wifi.

There are offers at 1100 EUR for Neo 2T with plates plus 6 months Tacx app., HR monitor, 2 bottles and a towel. Neo 3M is 2000 EUR with no free "gadgets" and offers very little difference vs Neo 2T. The same figures might be in US, but in USD. I guess this is a strategy to sell now the last stocks of Neo 2t, then Neo 3M price will probably decrease to 1300-1400 EUR or USD. I can't se other rationale for the price of 2000 EUR/USD.

I felt the same way when the Neo Bike Plus was released. Nice, but zero reason to make a change. And that offer for the Neo 2T sounds really good!
