ALWAYS. Has helped getting the first 100 miles done without stopping on all of my Cross Florida Rides ( https://spacecoastfreewheelers.com/xfl/ ), my 2014 Ironman Florida 112 mile segment without stopping and the 100 milers around home without stopping.

More like 4535.92g in a 2267.96g sack. One must be exact when it comes to the BOYS!!!

Seriously, give a last squeeze. Who among us has not got out in the middle of nowhere and had to drop a deuce. Maybe you had a few squares of TP, but leaves and definitely do not make for clean chamois.

Of course it beneficial to jettison that load prior to riding.
1. Improves flexibility
2. Improves comfort.
2. Reduces the likelihood of having to stop to jettison the load during a ride. Damn bib shorts.
3. Minimizes the weight you have to haul up the hills or accelerate in a sprint
4. It's just plain healthy to get rid of sh*t.
Just do it. You'll be happy you did.
It's best to use a bidet too. Nice to be clean.

The section on flatulence is particularly amusing. Who says doctors don't have a sense of humor?

Flatulence, which can cause great psychosocial distress, is unofficially described according to its salient characteristics:

1. The “slider” (crowded elevator type), which is released slowly and noiselessly, sometimes with devastating effect

2. The open sphincter, or “pooh” type, which is said to be of higher temperature and more aromatic

3. The staccato or drumbeat type, pleasantly passed in privacy

4. The “bark” type (described in a personal communication) is characterized by a sharp exclamatory eruption that effectively interrupts (and often concludes) conversation (aromaticity is not a prominent feature)

Rarely, this usually distressing symptom has been turned to advantage, as with a Frenchman referred to as “Le Petomane,” who became affluent as an effluent performer who played tunes with the gas from his rectum on the Moulin Rouge stage.
