No. Since you asked about the SM BB52, I assume you have the GXP version of the GX crankset, so you need a GXP bottom bracket. The GXP spindle is 24mm on the drive side and 22mm on the non drive side, so it won't work with a Shimano or any other bottom bracket that has 24mm bearings on both sides.

Is there a way that the forum can disallow postings until the new person has first made a post in Introductions? This place is meant as a watering hole, not an encyclopedia. This is gettin' ridonculous.

No it does not if you look up your crank with Google, Alta Vista, Ask Jeeves or whatever search engine you prefer you will find a plethora of information. I looked up sram gx crankset bottom bracket on the Googles and it got me here: https://www.sram.com/en/sram/road/pr...levancy&page=1 which gives me compatible bottom brackets for SRAM cranks and if I need something else I can search for it.

If you have a 2021 GX Eagle crankset, it's most like a 28.99mm DUB spindle, which will definitely not fit a shimano BB. If you have a BB52, you have a threaded BSA shell and would thus need a DUB BSA bb.
