Selling a single, used rim for more than it costs new...? That's lame.

$120

Gold H & Son Rim (1, NOT a set)
32 spoke hole
650c size tire

(see my other ads if you're interested in a hub for it)
a link to the manufacturers site.

Bill, I actually meant to mention that bike to you. It's around a 60cm prelude. The guy was very descriptive in his email response to me.

You are looking at a 2009 trek fx 7.0 scheels edition hybrid with road handlebars and friction shifters. It is in great shape with normal wear. Great commuter bike or very comfortable for longer rides.

Well, umm let see....

Here is one I saw today, trying to snag a fish!!

https://cgi.ebay.com/Rare-Vintage-RAL...item255cfbe1d5

They are asking almost $1500 for this bike...IMO, the bike seems to be worth about $100, if not less..

Correct me if I am wrong..

You're right. This is a Raleigh Gran Sport from the early '80s. The Gran Sport was a low to mid-range bike. The 1970s version has Reynolds 531 tubing, but at 27lbs it was on the heavy side. I'd pay $200 to $300 for it if it was a 1970s model, as I'm looking to pick up a 1970s Gran Sport. However, this one is from the 1980s, no Reynolds 531 tubing and made in Japan, so I wouldn't give them tuppence for it.

On the "fish".. I have reached senility in age (70) and some words fail me. By the term fish I meant somebody "that doesn't know much"..

So, to put it all together, somebody who doesn't know much (what I called a "fish")would pay the $1500 for that bike..

Understand?

Right, one would think $500 would be grossly overpriced, but they went overboard and asking for $1500...

Where to start...? I'm usually all for coloured components and other tackiness but this has got to be one of the ugliest bikes I've ever seen. A dork disc on a single speed (although it is one of my favourites) from an old Sekine, didn't bother to remove the small chain ring, ugly pedals, the chain, the tape, the price ($225) the whole thing. Yuck.

Peugeot Single Speed

Blue Peugeot Sport road bike

In very good condition. Great for cruising around this fall. Good fit for someone 5'5-5'11.

I am having a quick bike sale to unload some trash (about 10-20) that I don't want to cart around or stick in storage.

I have several different pieces of crap available - several Treks, Bianchi, KHS, GT, CCM, Kent, Schwinn, Roadmaster, Huffy. I'm telling you what kind they are because you'll never know by looking at them.

Mountain Bikes, Cruisers, Vintage, Road Bikes, Hybrids, men and womens

Nothing even close to rideable, but some pretty rusty bikes at a good price. A few might just need a shovel to bury them.

Most of the god bikes are $50-100. There are a bunch of cheaper bikes as well but you can't tell the difference.

Call me ASAP if you want to come take a look at a bunch of old, rusty, dirty bikes laying in the dirt. I will probably only be around until this evening or tomorrow, so act fast!

I am in the Danville Area, right off of the 680.

This Raleigh might be a nice bike, but $5000? I think not.
