Very cool and very clean looking.
It's one of those bikes that were only made for a year and most people have never heard of it. That orange color with the chrome lugs always makes me think of my old World Voyageur, but the Volare was 531. Really really like that one. Thanks for sharing.

I think there would interest. In some ways, the Volare has just as good a back story as a Paramount, only less known. So for some, because of the uniqueness factor, it might actually hold more interest.

Absolutely a good fine. I have one in practically new condition in a 21-in frame. Always getting offers on it. It's worth good money. Or keep it for your collection because you won't find another one soon lol

I sold my Paramount and kept my Volare. Haven't regretted it one little bit.
@Hobbiano - serial number does indicate Panasonic.

The hard part is price - what to price it at. I looked all over the net and could not find another one for sale or even one that has sold with price shown. I did see several Schwinn World Voyageurs that have the same chrome lugs and they ranged from 750 on up, then I found a World Voyageur frame (frame only) for around 500. I realize those are asking prices and not something to go by but I really cannot put it in the sale area until I know what to ask. PM me if you know of a '77 or '78 Volare that has sold recently.
I just noticed you have a section here for questions of price.
