1989 (?) Olmo
I posted this in the main forum, but I like to get opinions on value here as well.
I picked this Olmo up last night...I'm guessing this one is a circa 1989 model, as it has a gold 50th anniversary sticker on the top of the downtube (1939-1989). No model name on the frame anywhere.
It features a lugged frame - Oria tubing
Shimano 105 crank
Shimano 600 hubs, front and rear brakes, front and rear derailleur (14 speed - SIS/Friction shifting)
Wolber GTA 2 Gentleman 700c rims
Wellgo pedals
Pave saddle
Soxte (? - the script is difficult to read) headset
Overall, the bike is in nice shape, some minor scratches here and there, but nothing serious....I'm looking forward to cleaning it up and taking it for a ride, (but, embarassingly, I don't have the correct pump fitting to fill the tires.)
Any ballpark thoughts on value would be appreciated!

I agree with $300 being a good as-is price.
FWIW, I sold my late ‘80s Olmo San Remo for $450 earlier this year. It had full Superbe group and looked/rode great. OP’s paint is in better condition so I’d put this one over $500 all cleaned up with some matching components.

When I lived in England, Olmo bikes were more common compared to the states and could be had for about half or 3/4 of what they'd fetch in California...being that there was only one distributor (that I'm aware of anyway) back in the 80s (Bicycles Parts Pacific) out in San Diego, CA.
