Specalized Bottom Bracket 2011 Roubaix 61mm BB - Question
Just obtained a 2011 Specialized S-works Roubaix in basically like-new condition. The steerer tube isn't even cut. While I had a local shop checkout the frame and we got into discussions about the BB. This is 61mm.
I'm looking at a BBinfinity BB 61mm or a Kogel and the question is about these black plastic cups currently in the bottom bracket. With the infinity BB, do these black plastic cups stay or go? They don't slide out. Cannot tell if glued or what. Anyone have an idea?
Given the age of the frame, info on the net is scattered/limited. Pic approached.

I'm just going to reply to my own post. The recommendation is to remove them.
