Ebike rated chain?

I noticed an 11 speed Chain which had ebike rated on it. What is the industry standard for ebike rated?

Why do you think there is an industry standard? Probably just the manufacturer decided what is and what isn't sufficient for them to be for e-bikes.

Though some probably should take heed to them stating it's suitable for e-bikes. As it seems a lot of e-bike operators like to accelerate from a stop in way too high a gear combo.

I don't think there is an official standard, but the e-bike chains tend to last longer and hold up better in our experience.

For automotive, there are suspension parts for "heavy service", "taxi/police", "commercial".

Basically beefier, heavier.

My guess ebike chains are similar. I'll try and weigh one next time I do a swap.

There is quite a range of power output of eBike motors. This would heavily influence how strong/durable the chain needs to be. Thus if there is such a standard, it would need to be tailored to the motor power ranges.
