Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Hagg Lake

I don't post very often, and I don't ride near as much as most people here, however, this was on my longest ride ever (almost 37 miles!!) and I was very happy with it.

Thanks,
CZ

I have another Tampa Bay shot. The bridge on the right is our newly opened multi-use, bike/pedestrian bridge. The one on the left is the road.

Courtney Campbell trail. It parallels the main road bridge. Dedicated path from Cypress point park in Tampa, across bridge and into Pinellas. Stops at a low bridge on that side, so If you are coming from Clearwater, you will have to ride on the road a bit. Supposed to go all the way across by 2015.
19 mile out and back the way I went.
