Seatpost-mount USB light with wedge?

A failing with too many designs of seatpost-mount rear lights is the lack of a wedge so the light doesn't point at the ground.
All of the pictures of (cheap - need I mention that?) USB lights either have the same case for front and rear (=no wedge), or just plain don't have one.
I have a set of which the rear *does* have a wedge, but it eats coin cells.
An essential - for me - feature is some kind of rubber-mount-to-a-hook system, so they come off quickly; in my pocket when the bike is locked.
Anyone know of such a product?

I use Cateye products. For what I use, the rear mount is indexing for proper angle. Mounts with plastic thumb nuts front and rear. The lamps snap in and pop off from the mounts. However they are not USB

My two Knogs and my ancient Vistalight all radiate light in such a broad pattern that the 20 degrees off vertical doesn't make much of a difference.

I added a segment of nylon strap horizontally across the back of a spare tire/tube bag, the light clip passes through a gap in the sewing. Allows one to just remove the light and or take the whole bag.
‘if you do not think you can accomplish, a cobbler should be able to achieve.

Some Topeak (and other) seat bags have something similar built in.

Most of the USB rear lights I have that have a rubber "strap" that goes around the seatpost have pivots that allow you to point it straight back. I don't remember or don't know the brand names, as I usually find them used at the bike kitchen, thrift store, swap, yard sale, etc.

I have many lights and camera's that all can be pivoted to point straight back, Bontrager/Trek, Cygolite as mentioned already, Lezyne, Cycliq, Light and Motion.

I run multiple lights front and rear, camera's and GPS too, 24/7, period.

All can adapt to most angles, I run them on the SP and seatstay most of the time.

They are often not cheap but good ones have plenty of mounting options.

This Light and Motion Vya Pro's mount is angled as you describe. Mount is held by a rubber strap and the light removes with a quarter turn.

Very happy with mine, particularly the auto power on/off that means I don't forget to switch it on.

I bought this one recently, the red light fastens with a rubber strap, and it's got a wedge to make it level. The front light has several settings for brightness, and is actually pretty bright

. I think this was on one of the lower settings, on a pretty dark night.

I like the Blitzu Cyborg 120T. It is rechargeable, has the rubber mount which can tilt, charge lasts a long time, and good visibility.

I used to buy new lights all the time, before LED technology got to the point that I was happy with what I had. I've got several NiteRider Solas tail lights. I wish the USB plug-in were easier to access, but otherwise I've been happy with them.

A bonus of LED technology having surpassed the point that I'm happy with it is now I can buy last year's models at closeout prices.

These are great lights, work great, mount easily, I use these on seatstays as a third rear light with one on my helmet and the camera/light on my SP.

That's what I have. I walked into my LBS and just grabbed a pair of those off the rack and marched to the counter, how expensive can little lights be? Expensive! But they do work great, hold a charge for a very long time, and can be swapped between bikes with ease.

Bontrager ION 100 set front/rear.

Gonna say it again, multiple lights and cameras front and rear, GPS and helmet, 24/7, period.

Good lights and all else can save your life and/or win the 10 mil lawsuit, don't skimp.

This is the correct answer. I have three and they have been nothing short of perfect. And they aren't ugly like most of the others I've seen posted here.

I bought some really cheap ones for daylight presence lights, been using them 2 years with no issues.
Did take me a bit to spot why the rear light was pointing at the floor though - built in wedge, just flipped it over.

I have never had this problem, and didn't think it was an issue. With my first Cateye LED light purchased at REI back in maybe 1990, up to today. I've always got a light with either an adjustable mount (Cateye, Cygolite) or the seatpost angle built in to the mount (Niterider). It literally isn't a problem, and I'm not sure it ever has been.
