Taking my Bike Apart
Ok, so I am selling my bicycle frame and I need to take my bike apart. I realize now that I need a crank puller to remove my crank. Obviously I have allen wrenches and screwdrivers. Are there any other specialty tools that I need? Also, am I dreaming to think that parts off of my Schwinn Full Suspension bike will fit on a Gary Fisher Wahoo frame? Thanks

You need a tool for removing your bottom bracket as well.
As far as transfering parts, some parts will work some won't.
The parts taht are least likely to work are your seatpost and bottom bracket, as both come in multiple sizes.

Look out for the FD as well, bottom pull or top pull, depending on the new frame.

you may also wear gloves because of the grease.

Did you get the Wahoo frame from your lbs? Has it been faced? Watch out on the headset cups, I almost ruined a set trying to get them out but realized I would probably dent the hell out of them and had my LBS do it for me. It literally took more time to find the splay-tool than to get them out.
edit: I asked if you got the frame at the LBS because if you did, you might be able to get them to take off the stuff you can't get without buying specialty tools. However, a crank puller, bb tool, torx wrench set, and cogset tools are additions to my toolbox I am glad I made.
edit edit: oh holy ****, I just looked at the date of the op... I'm sure he's got it nailed by now...
