Just my opinion
I have been scrolling through new bikes lately. I don't need another bike for the record. I have come to the conclusion that 90% of new bikes are just fugly.
just for reference my 3 main Bikes are Surly Steamroller, LHT and a flat bar Cross Check

Once I realized that there was a standard for beauty independent of personal taste, my life has gotten a lot simpler.
The whole "different things appeal to different people" idea is way too complicated.

I worked for a couple of summers in a small town where ALL of the women were, ahem, "unattractive". I worked for a small company where I was the only male, and all of the women were single. Can you guess what happened? Over time, my idea of attractiveness changed. Sure did.

Ugly is one thing, now they are downright STUPID with the TT inline with the seat stays. OMG people are buying them.

Any bicycle frame that is unlucky enough to miss out on having a gracefully curved top tube and seat stays has not achieved its potential in terms of style and beauty.
Unless it has fastback seat stays. I'll make an exception for that.
But that's just my opinion. Which is worth exactly what everyone is paying here at the moment for it.

It's that little things that count. If the frame doesn't have braze-ons to attach a rear rack, at least two water bottles in the frame triangle, and (optional) attachment points on the fork for a front rack, Its a fail for me. Racks are just sooooo convenient to have and don't weigh that much. I know they give a bicycle a 'Fred' look, but that's OK with me.

I can accept ugly bikes, I cannot accept super expensive ugly bikes made in some anonymous factory in some unknown country.
