Wondering if anyone is familiar with a source for a "good quality " battery for this Garmin? Thanks!

A consumer electronics product that has lasted 13 years? Mis-quoting Dr. McCoy, "It's dead, Jim."

I've replaced batteries in an Edge 705, and an Edge 1000.
It seems like no matter where I look, the available batteries are always the "Cameron Sino" brand.
The good news is they cost about $15-$20.
The bad news is they only last about a year, but they are cheap enough that really isn't bad for a year's usage.

Some years ago, I tried to replace the battery of my Garmin 830. The instructions warn you to be very careful because if you bend or break one of the many, very thin connecting pins your unit is toast.
I was.
I still did.
It was.
Oh well, only $15 wasted.
