WTB bar end friction shifters

Long lever Dia-compe or long lever Suntour preferred. I'm usually running 8 speed cassettes.

Please PM me with what you have. If nothing else pops up I would take shimano.

Basically any of the dia-compe would do. They were longer, plain metal. Here is one but there are various styles available.

Suntour has some long and naked ones available but the most common is the short and stubby ones:

The Shimano ones are slightly less stubby with the gray plastic covers.

To be honest from a practical standpoint the shorter ones makes more sense but they are not as pretty... If I can't find a longer one a set of suntour shifters would do, as long as they can shift an 8 cog cassette in friction mode.

Or instead I would be interested in just the pods... Something like these guys.

Hello again,
Velo Orange has new DiaCompe bar ends. Can’t tell if they have the long levers, but they look longer than the ones on my Suntours.
Cheers,
Van

I'm hoping to find something vintage to put on a vintage bike.

I do have a pair of the new dia compe bar end shifters on my tourer, they are really good.
