26in wheels all round - although, the wheels on that bike are in need of work. I've not had the hubs apart yet. After I get a couple of other projects rolling down the road, I might get into them.

I just shipped one to Adventure man in CO for about $50. I'm thinking maybe a bit higher for the complete bike for the extra weight and maybe bit bigger shipping box. If it fits and you will ride it, then it is a great deal. Smiles, MH

I’ll double check the stem to make sure it’s not stuck. I loosened the seatpost when I picked it up.
The frame is fine. The paint might be a bit faded.

Well C&V folks,
I put this frame and fork up for sale and had no interest in it expressed. So it now goes to the do you want it for free section. It is just a bit too large for me to ride comfortably now that I have a case of SHS (Shrinking Human Syndrome). I am asking for cost of shipping (about $50). The bike has a bit of history as a 1977 Raleigh Comp GS which is the best I can deduce about it. It has been modified by Keith Anderson with a few braze-ons and his paint before I got it. I did renew the paint with a powder coat, new decals, and clear coat lacquer. Size is 55 cm CTC. Pictures:

Yes. Lots of tells in the details - look at the faux cutout in the lug extensions, then the thickness of the lug where it meets the top and bottom tubes, compared to where it meets the head tube - the head tube junction is much thinner - this is where a press punched it out to make it look like 3 pieces.

My '83 Trek 600 has it. My '87 560 has it as well, which sports the same version as the picture you quoted. I don't know if they used it earlier than '83, or if they also used it on higher end models of the time period (i.e 7xx).

Serotta Atlanta in size 58L (58 c-c top and seat tube)

Slightly too big for me. Looking for something 55 to 57 (preferably 56). Serotta would be great, but interested in anything comparable, 90s or early 00s frames.

Some scuffs on the frame, some minor rust spots, but overall pretty nice. No dings or dents. PM for more details/pics etc.

I've always wanted a pre 1971 PX-10 with the fancy nervex lugs and I keep finding them but they are always too big for me. I'd like a 52cm ctc, or maybe 54. If anyone has one they'd like to trade for a 58-60, lemme know!

Seat tube: 59cm c-t
Top tube: 53.5cm >> 54cm c-c
Head tube: 135 mm

• Hand-built sport tourer. Assembled in Dawes’ special production line.
• The finish was restored in baked stove enamel by Argos Racing Cycles in England.
•The original hues, fade spray, and graphics are exact reproductions. According to the Argos' price guide, I estimate this alone would cost 500-600 US$ today.
• The frame was fully serviced and adjusted by a professional frame maker here in Sendai before the build assembly —chased, faced, and aligned.
• Very few miles on the fame since the build in 2011-12.

I’m only 5’9”, so a ’54+’ or ’56’ is a better fit. So as for a trade, I’d be interested in a race frame (not a tourer) and something of equal provenance, hand-assembled and with reasonable finish. I’m in no hurry, and I’m in no mood to just dump this bike. I can still ride it OK. I just prefer a smaller frame.

looking for a 60-62cm, 59cm toptube. Would prefer 85-95, italian or english threaded, but really open to almost anything in my size (except french threads)

I realize this is a long shot, but if anyone has a Bruce Gordon in a 58-61 range, let me know. I might have some things that could convince you to trade, depending on your size and interest area. I'm specifically looking for a BG that has his circular cutouts in the lugwork.

Long shot would be a gross understatement, small handful here have one and only one like you seek I think.

Mines a 1978 and maybe a bit plain but was built in Eugene after he left Albert and came North to hang out with Merz and DiNucci.

Its a 60 but rides like a 62 - 4 for me and was one of the 2 bikes we used for the fitting of my only custom frame built for me and I have others that could have could have been built for me including this one.

No full on pics ATMO but you get the idea.

Not sure what it would take to part with this.

Yeah, same here, I didn't get half the bikes I have by waffling, clear and present mission requires action the minute it presents itself.

I had no delusions and spent plenty on many that I would not have had I not stepped up, way up in some cases, done and glad I did.
