Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Hows it going everyone, new guy that just joined the boards to gain some insight, and just to checkout whats going on in the world of other cyclists.

Here is my current road bike. Bike has been owned since new, but sat for awhile while another bike took up roll as the main ride until the merlin was revamped. She was outfitted with all up-to-date gear. Just got refreshed with a new original decal set.

Thanks. They're customs - Kinlin XR270 (front) / 300 (back), Alchemy Elf/Orc hubs, 24/28h, CX-rays. They came in at 1460g. They were built by Ron Ruff at White Mtn Wheels. Mainly I wanted something durable yet as light as possible given my weight of around 200 lb, and something that looked good too. They haven't made me any faster, but I like them so far and they've stayed true for a few hundred miles over some pretty brutal roads.

Can you list the components on your frame?
Thanks

* Neuvation R28SL3 wheelset

Lemond Victoire Titanium Road Bike

Just picked up a 2003 Lemond Victoire Titanium this week off of CL. It's a one owner with less then 300 miles. The Lemond has Shimano Ultegra, Bontrager Race Lite wheels and Shimano's Flight Deck, it's great to know what gear your in!
